Delivery Terms & Conditions

Small Items

Before purchasing an item, please request a postal quote, which will be given directly by the designer. Once purchased, your item/s will be posted via courier as arranged.

Large Items

Before purchasing an item, please request a postal quote which will be given directly by our courier. Due to the nature of larger products, delivery will be made by Kirkland Couriers, a company specialising in furniture and antiques transportation. Kirkland Couriers will finalise delivery arrangements, costs and payments with you upon purchasing an item.

Irrespective of size or weight, deliveries will be charged at £20.00 per hour for the return journey+fuel. So for example, to deliver from our shop in Stroud, Gloucestershire to Central London and return would usually take 5 hours and cost £40.00 in fuel and so would cost £140.00 in total (5 x £20 + £40). All calculations for delivery costs will be fairly undertaken by Kirkland Couriers.

For deliveries within the Stroud District there will be a flat rate charge of £30.00.

Please note, all items are delivered solely by the driver. If further assistance is required at the delivery address then arrangements must be made beforehand for either an extra paid operative or on site help supplied by the purchaser.

If, in the unlikely event, any damage occurs to your item during transit then compensation will be guaranteed.

If you have any further questions about our delivery policy then please contact us.

Return & Refund Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from Up This Way, you have 14 days from receiving it to return it to us.

To be eligible for return your item must be unused and returned to Up This Way in the condition in which it was sent. Before despatching we take photo’s of all items to verify their condition in case any damage is sustained in transit.

You will need to have your receipt or proof of purchase.

Once we receive your item we notify you of its arrival. We will inspect it and immediately notify you of your refund status as a result.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund via your original method of payment and you will receive this credit in accordance with your bank’s policies.

For small items you will be responsible for safely and responsibly shipping it back to Up This Way at your cost. Any damage to items during their return to us will be charged accordingly.

Large items originally delivered by our courier, must be picked up returned to us exclusively by them. This shipping cost will be deducted from any refund owed to you. Shipping costs back to Up This Way are non-refundable.
